Civic Honours for former Wirral Councillors

For those who may be struggling with the small text:

“Over ten years ago, Jones, instead of punishing two of the council’s senior abusers of disabled people, allowed them to leave and gain top jobs elsewhere. Although they were proven inside Anna Klonowski’s external investigation to have engaged in 9 years of financial abuse against the council’s disabled tenants living in three supported living establishments in Moreton, Maura Noone and Mike Fowler were paid off £110,000 each from our council tax, gagged and given clean bills of health to take to their next employer. Fowler landed a senior financial post at an alleged ‘charity’ and Noone became the Head of Adult Social Services at Reading Borough Council. Even social services whistleblower Martin Morton exposing this did not bring accountability because Adrian Jones chaired the Employment and Appointments Committee that allowed them to leave two days before the Klonowski report was released. A Wirral citizen took them to tribunal, but whaddyaknow? The judge found against them. Go to the Paul Cardin YouTube channel to watch the gory details on video. Jones protected abusers, rewarded abusers and even enabled further abuse. And this broken outfit is now honouring him. It’s all very, very, very corrupt.”
