Email to Matt Warman MP from a concerned constituent

As you are aware, the Private Finance Initiative Projects were abolished 4/5 years ago by your Government.  However, the cost of these PFI Projects are being incurred for another 20/30 years, Quite a number of these PFI Projects are for Hospitals,  My proposal would be to cease and desist PFI Projects period immediately which includes LIVE PFI Projects, schools, hospitals, police stations etc. Basically, these PFI projects need to be NATIONLISED  or Tendered out on a more competitive  contract. There is no doubt in my mind the saving from the PFI Boondoogle Contacts would provide vital money needed to pay for the Nurses’ Salary raise.  I don’t know which MP’s/Civil Servants are responsible for these PFI Projects but they need to be investigated because PFI Projects stink of corruption and fraud of public funds.

The concept of these PFI Projects is for the Government to enter into a contract for the design and build of say, a school or hospital and then operate  and maintain the Building, The PFIs are not working and it is a tool to defraud public funds.

I think my suggestions are at least, worth looking into.

I do hope you don’t think I am being too vexatious again,

Best regards

Alan M Dransfield
