How a Wirral Council Social Services whistleblower was safely gotten rid of. How Joyce Redfearn, Anna Klonowski, Michael Frater and law firm DLA Piper LLP successfully concealed disability discrimination found by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. It’s all here, where corrupted senior ‘public servants’ could learn a lot on how to cover up, protecting themselves and their crooked, harmful activities

The two senior officers responsible for a catalogue of abuses – Mike Fowler and Maura Noone – were protected from the consequences of Klonowski’s findings and allowed to leave days before her report was issued. They were then gagged and provided with clean bills of health. Neither the council nor the abusers were permitted to talk about the abuse they’d been involved in perpetrating.

Fowler picked up a senior role at a charity – Brook Young People

Corporate abuse of disabled people needn’t sound the death knell for your career

Noone picked up a number of further senior roles including Head of Adult Social Services at Reading Council.
