Return to Bomb Alley 1982 – The Falklands Deception
From Paul Cardin, a Falklands Conflict veteran. This is a biting commentary, told from the heart. Also included is a 1982 diary, written on location. This book forms a forensic inquiry into several conflict-related mysteries that have never been addressed or resolved - even after 40 years.

The picture of the fella with Jeremy will win the prize. Whilst the fella who’s not been lucky enough to have his image captured with Jeremy is probably just as bad and incompetent as the fella with Jeremy, it’s really all about presentation and how you look. The average voter will go for looks and appearance every single time. It doesn’t matter nowadays what lies beneath, whether or not there’s any substance to the Candidate. It’s entirely about how less sinister and threatening they are, and given that I’m no different to the average Joe, I’d go for the fella with Jeremy because he looks less likely to mug me on the way home from my Ale House.
That’s how far we’ve fallen. This is how buggered up our democratic form of governance has evolved into. If you don’t trust or believe in either of them and their posted leaflet doesn’t promise you a free unhindered ten minute trolley dash through your local Lidl supermarket, then just look into their eyes, take your pick on who’s less likely to beat the living daylights out of you and cast your vote.
