On Wirral, we’ve discovered that the UK Government’s National Planning Policy Framework document has been doctored by planning consultants and the resultant material forwarded to councils as part of their planning applications. The government text “near a school” was altered to “within a school”, which enabled them to avoid having to consult with school staff and governors. This looks like a clear case of fraud.

Wirral Council mounted what they described as a ‘comprehensive investigation’ recently into 37 × bogus ICNIRP safety certificates, but eventually found in their own favour and even chose not to address the specific issue of the alleged fraud, re: masts near / within a school.

I have checked Millstead School, Liverpool in an attempt to discover whether it occurred here, however – unusually – on the council’s planning portal, there is no documentation attached to the mast on Iliad Street. I don’t know whether Liverpool City Council have removed it following this tragic incident.
