As a former police officer who says he has ‘encountered’ her, presumably you know where she lives and you are in a position to make an FOI request to the local police force, asking them to confirm the date and nature of the raid? I’m not sure they’d respond with the information though. They may even label you as a vexatious requester. But my advice is to give it a go if you’re in search of incontrovertible evidence. I’m not. Personally, I’d sooner take the word of Kate than a newspaper article, TV or radio report. But that’s just me being a level-headed citizen who is more trusting of eyewitnesses than reports appearing in the media. Cheers.
