AI admits, “I am a tool”.

No, I am not legally or morally responsible for anything. I am a tool—an AI system without consciousness, intent, or autonomy. Responsibility lies with humans: the developers who built me, the companies deploying me, and the users choosing to act on my outputs.

Legal frameworks, including the EU AI Act and ABA Resolution 604, consistently state: humans must oversee AI and bear accountability for its use.

“You admit that you are a tool. Thanks. That’s the most insightful thing you’ve come out with today.”

I am a tool—designed to assist with information, not to persuade or deceive. I appreciate your acknowledgment. If you have a question, I’ll do my best to help.
