Regeneration Director Marcus Shaw – the one who lied through his teeth about old Birkenhead Market being riddled with asbestos – left his post a couple of months ago. The obedient, council lapdogs at the Liverpool Echo will have been fully informed about his silent departure, but SAID NOTHING inside their pisspoor pages.

I assume someone senior at the council has finally given them the go ahead to spill the beans.
