In this thirteenth video, Director Alex Christoforou and Editor-in-Chief of The Duran Alexander Mercouris explain how The Duran, in a selfless and very generous gesture, will be contributing 100% of the proceeds of all of their eBooks to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service and Brigades Donations Fund. You can donate directly here:

Alexander Mercouris also spends more time describing the contents of the #Epstein and #Russiagate eBooks. We’ve personally read both, they have some unique and compelling insights and are an excellent addition to the coverage currently appearing in some of the UK media. The US media is failing to cover the massive #Epstein scandal whilst devoting acres of column inches to the non-scandal of #Ukrainegate:

“…one on #Ukrainegate, the scandal that is no scandal, that’s a zero scandal, but which is getting all this enormous publicity. And the other on #Epstein which is the real scandal with the real victims, where there’s been all kinds of crimes committed and that one’s getting virtually no publicity at all…”

Transcription of the contents:

AC:  …and we have our eBooks, #Ukrainegate and #Epstein. Purchase an eBook, every book that you buy, Alexander, goes to the NSW Rural Fire Services in Australia, and I will also put a link for a direct donation. If you’re not interested in buying an eBook, no problem, even though we always recommend buying the eBook and reading it. But if you just want to do a direct donation as well, we’ll put a link to the NSW in the description box as well. Alexander, some final words.

AM:  Exactly, I mean, on that, I mean, this is obviously the story of the wildfires in Australia which is a mammoth story. We’ve struggled to think about how…to discuss it and how to cover it and of course it’s something that is completely outside our zone. I mean, we’re geopolitics, we can cover geopolitics, we can cover politics in the United States, we can talk about Russia, we can talk about #Brexit, we can talk about Macron, we can talk about all kinds of things. This is something that really isn’t something we know that we can add a distinctive voice to. Obviously we can repeat other people’s talking points, but what’s the point of that? And at the end of the day, we can see who is on the front line in that battle. It’s the firefighters in Australia and I’ve recently learned that many of them, in fact, are volunteers, well, most of them are.

So we are going to do everything we can within our limited resources to help them and we’re going to provide them with all the proceeds from the sales of our books. And actually, it’s four eBooks in our shop. One on #Russiagate, one on #Brexit. They’re now quite old and the two new books, one on #Ukrainegate, the scandal that is no scandal, that’s a zero scandal, but which is getting all this enormous publicity. And the other on #Epstein which is the real scandal with the real victims, where there’s been all kinds of crimes committed and that one’s getting virtually no publicity at all. So we’ve looked at those two scandals. I’ve written prefaces for those books. So obviously, yes, by all means, donate directly, as Alex said, but buy our books also. It has the same effect and we think you will learn something from our books also.
