I first heard about this a couple of weeks ago, hoping it wasn’t true. Now, it’s looking more likely.

Shit like this wouldn’t have arisen even ten years ago, when we had an investigative media to shake a stick at; one that would have let the public know by raising serious questions about crooked people abusing the power vested in them.
