Dear Angela Eagle,

Why has your Home Office department scrapped compensation for millions of victims of child abuse?

As my MP, I would like to ask whether you had any direct involvement in this heartless lunacy?

It seems nobody is immune from you and your government’s blundering policy decisions, be it the scrapping of pensioners’ winter fuel allowance (voted through by you), introduction of children’s free school meals (voted down by you) or compensation for victims of child abuse (scrapped (by you?)).

You are Britain’s Tories, MK II. Mrs Thatcher would be proud.

Other UK nations are compensating victims of child abuse, as should be expected, but England is not. While you’re there, are you still doing nothing whatsoever about Pakistani rape gangs who are still free to run rampant, emboldened by your inaction, attacking children, and creating misery. What a mess you are guilty of creating here. Your mum and dad were fine, upstanding workers of integrity. You’ve spent the last 33 years betraying their memory.

Please let me know whether you had any direct involvement in this cruel and heartless decision? If you did, then please take time to have a long look in the mirror, and to hang your head in shame,
