A ‘vexatious’ Freedom of Information request. Sarah Everard was murdered by a serving Metropolitan Police Officer in March 2021.

Members of Reclaim These Streets (RTS) proposed to organise a vigil for
Sarah Everard on 13 March 2021 on Clapham Common, close to where
she had last been seen.

With the UK still under severe movement restrictions due to the
coronavirus pandemic, the Metropolitan Police Service met the organisers of the vigil and told
them that such a gathering was likely to be in breach of regulations to
protect public health.

Reclaim These Streets challenged the MPS’s position at the High
Court, which ruled that MPS’s position was correct. On 13 March 2021
Reclaim These Streets confirmed that the vigil would not go ahead.

The more I read about what the Politicians “told” us what to do rather than “advised” makes my blood boil. Our lives were destroyed during the Covid period and still being destroyed because of it. Furthermore, that terrible, terrible crime made myself and thousands more like me, very fearful and to think that “Covid Restrictions” were more important than a group paying respect to Sara showed a huge lack of respect on the part of the Authorities. Covid ensured millionaires became billionaires and the rest of us were treated like sh.t ! COVID WAS A CON!
