Q8. Do you have any other comments about the overall proposals?
1. The Scoping Request lodged with Wirral Council is very detailed and comprehensive, but it omits to mention BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems). Can you respond to the email address I have provided and explain whether this site is NOT including battery energy storage systems and is therefore not storing electricity in order to link to the grid during times of peak demand? This seems unlikely. If the complex is including BESS, why has it been omitted from the Scoping Request when other equipment has been included such as inverters, solar panels, substation, transformers, et al. ?
2. The occupants of Rose Cottage (the Whites) have already partnered (in 2023) with ON TOWER UK – a telecoms company – in order to lease their land (the same land assigned to the solar panels) for a 10-year period in order to install a 5G mast. This 20-metre mast is now in place next to the pond on the northern border of the targeted land. I would like to know whether you have also secured a deal with the Whites and put in place an agreement which will make a financial transaction contingent upon a successful planning application with Wirral Council?
