Every 100 megawatt data  site will consume the equivalent power supply of 100,000 average semi-detached houses.

The data centre will likely require a direct overhead 132 kilovolt supply – via pylons – to step-down transformers housed in sprawling new substations.

I’ve never been a journalist, and I don’t want to be, but I would have no problem wiping the floor with the waste of space who wrote this steaming pile of ‘news’.
