Q. Why don’t UK local newspapers report local public scandals concerning councils, health services and the police anymore?

A. Because the BBC’s “Local Democracy Reporting Service” – spot the INVERSION – has infiltrated Newsquest and Reach PLC – the two largest owners of local newspapers with 165 of its own BBC-trained reporters.

This started in 2017. Ever since, local rags have been captured and tamed, like cute little trained puppy dogs, fetching, carrying and protecting their master.

    Hi

The Manchester Evening News used to be wonderful – not any longer.

I have had to start my own local newspaper to expose what is going on. AI writes the stories and checks them for libel.

The Romiley Gazette – going just over a month with c 13k readership per month.

    Kind regards

    Sheila
