Thanks are due to Able News Media for being there on the spot to film this. As for the council, they appear to have secreted their version of the footage away, inside a Zoom meeting dated 1st May 2025 on their YouTube channel.
We later compared the Able News Media YouTube footage to Swansea City Council’s official YouTube footage and noticed that the council had removed the sound of public applause from it. This is not just actively cynical, it is a mangling of the true message, and a stunt which appears to be aimed at discouraging viewers from relating to, sympathising with and supporting the three councillors involved.
Below is the official council footage for comparison purposes. Apologies for the shaky camera, but I had to zoom in on a postage stamp-sized section, and the poor video quality was unavoidable:
Note how A. A DILUTION OF THE IMPACT and, B. A MANGLING OF THE MESSAGE are to the forefront here.
