It’s the current card options on our website (Visa and Mastercard) Here is a snippet from the email – “Hello, Bowie here from Shopify’s Trust & Safety team. We are reaching out about your store british-supplements.myshopify.com. We found that your store is selling certain products which are restricted or prohibited in some regions. In order to continue to support you on the Shopify Payments gateway we will require that you alter your shipping regions or remove the following products that contain these ingredients:5-HTP – EUGinkgo Biloba – IrelandTribulus terrestris – IrelandNMN – EUR, USAMucana – USA, UKTongkat Ali – EU, UK” I informed Bowie that everything is legal in the UK, as that is where we know the law best, and that we will look to restrict shipments to the EU and America, as we do not know the law there very well when it comes to supplements. He came back and said they are probably legal to sell in the UK, but the banks are telling them “these products are against their policy,” so we have to either stop using them to take card payments or try another processor if we do not do what they want us to do. Also, we still get emails from Amazon even tho we have not sold on there for many, many years. I got this email the SAME day I got the email from Shopify pay, the other products we never sold on Amazon. I just searched for 5htp on Amazon.co.uk and there are loads of 5htp products being sold which is strange, is it just us they are coming after ? I’m surprised they haven’t come for 5htp sooner as it can be a direct replacement for their antidepressants, and I don’t think that is in Big Pharma’s interests, do you? 5htp can potentially increase serotonin levels, which is a feel-safe/well chemical in the brain. That’s how it works, and that is how their antidepressants work, but their stuff has major side effects. What side effects does 5htp have ? Very little and minor like a sore head if you do get any when first starting 5htp. Mucuna is similar and can increase Dopamine naturally which is a happy chemical in the brain. You know that feeling after a hard workout ? feeling great, that’s increased dopamine levels. They are going mad trying to ban Mucuna in the UK. A lot of people with Parkinson’s take it, and it’s much better than the lab-made Dopamine that the doctors promote so everyone tells us, just read the reviews for yourself on our Mucuna product pages. Some time ago I read that a deficiency in B12 could lead to an iron deficiency, so I thought I’d give it a go. First, I was silly and didn’t follow the instructions and took 2 tablets straight away instead of doing 1 tablet to get used to them. It messed up my stomach for a while and I had to stop for a couple of months. Then I followed the instructions and I can honestly say (and I am a massively huge sceptic of these types of things) that they did actually work. I’ll add the caveats in that I also use creatine (have been for years), recently added collagen l, have a good diet and train regularly. That said, all my lifts went up when I started taking these. Not straight away, but after a month or so. I have had really bad knee and ankle injuries over the last few years so legs have suffered. Taking these has put my squats to be the heaviest I have lifted for sets of 5. The one negative I can see (and I’m trying to determine if this is age or not) is that ONLY SINCE TAKING THESE my hair has thinned, a lot. I don’t suffer from hair loss and it’s never been thinning despite being 42, not is hair loss in my family, but only since I hav taken these has it become a problem. It could be that it’s doing its job and upping my testosterone which could have that effect, I don’t know. For the meantime I have stopped and won’t take any more for a few months to see if it changes.
