Some sound, anonymous advice here to those who will be concerned …

All part of the agenda to de-cash society and give Sunak the metrics he needs to push the digital pound (nobody used cash in ‘wherever’) — so they are removing points you can extract your paper money and reduce a run on the bank.

The sleeping majority over the last 100-130 years allowed them to build this control grid and it’s their rule book — but only while we remain bound by fiat currency.

The golden rule is to only keep deposited with your bank what you can or are prepared to sacrifice. (They are going to fcuk us over and we are going to lose a % of our deposits — therefore reduce your risk to such exposure).

I’d urge you all to review your short term banking needs as the coming struggle approaches — move your working account to a bank with physical presence so you have a point of access and beware some of these physical branches are classed as digital only (TSB Lord Street in Liverpool is an example. They claim to hold minimal physical cash).

Buy a safe, keep a stash of cash close so when the internet / banks go dark you can still buy food, fuel etc. from those who recognise cash in exchange for goods. Cycle that stash, use and replace it as they change the note types more frequently these days.

Convert savings to physical; gold, silver, platinum, copper etc. Have a spread of coins or bars, especially gold quarter, half and full sovereigns, 1oz Brittanias. Have some crypto stored offline if you are capable, or invest in other assets that hold value like property (if wealthy) or pieces of jewellery, watches, etc. It’s the low denomination coins you can use — if all systems crash — for bartering or exchanging for food, water, etc.
