We’re not at all surprised to see Richard Penn involved in another of his whitewashes.

Not after he cleared four very senior Wirral Council officers who’d been suspended for a long litany of abuses many years ago:

Highways Director David Green; (paid off £103,000)

Director of Law Bill Norman; (paid off £151,000)

Acting Chief Exec. / former Finance Director Ian Coleman; (paid off £82,500)

Deputy Director of Finance David Taylor-Smith (paid off £68,500)

The events were covered in a number of posts we did. Search this blog for “Richard Penn” and any of the above names for much more! The upshot as you can see was that they were all paid off handsomely thanks to Dicky Boy “Tricky Boy” Penn.

Despite the travesty of it all, this post is one in particular that had us lol’ing a lot…
